WiFi @ the City of St. Peters
Provided by ProTronics Technologies Inc. (PTI)
Newton got his inspiration under an apple tree. Perhaps your next inspired moment will come under a tree, also, as you surf the resources of the World Wide Web in a St. Peters park.
WiFi, or wireless Internet service, is available at St. Peters City Hall, the Rec-Plex (North and South), Community and Arts Center, and many St. Peters parks. Anybody using a "WiFi" compliant device (such as a laptop computer or handheld PDA) can log onto the Internet for free from wireless Internet access points in these locations (depending on amount of usage).
The St. Peters parks that are now equipped with WiFi are:
-City Centre Park
-Woodlands Sports Park
-Laurel Park
-Spencer Creek Park
-Brown Road Park
-Sports Center Park
-Shady Springs Park
-Rabbit Run Park
-Golf and Recreation Center / St. Peters Golf Course
Plans are for all St. Peters parks to receive WiFi service.
