2010 St. Peters Rec-Plex Fall Triathlon

When:

Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 – Starts at 7:30am  
(Athletes must arrive 1 hour before their assigned start time to be body marked & for transition setup.)

Where:

The world-famous Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Road, St. Peters, MO 63376

Events:

500-meter swim in the Rec-Plex’s Olympic-quality Natatorium

21-mile bicycle ride through the flat farmlands of St. Peters, making a fast-paced ride

TIMES WILL NOT BE ADJUSTED FOR TRAIN STOPPAGES

5-mile run on paved trails in the City’s shady, scenic, serene parks

Note: Team Event participants can have up to 3 on each team. Please designate who will swim, ride and run. Helmets are required.

Swim Times:

Expect 15-second intervals between send-off times for swimmers. Swim times will be assigned in order of registration. The swim times will be posted at Fleet Feet’s web site.

Registration:

Age Group entry fee is $50 through Sept. 10, $65 from Sept. 11 – 25

Team entry fee is $80 per team through Sept. 10, $90 from Sept. 11 – 25

No registration will be accepted after Sept. 25. Register at the Rec-Plex; by mail using the Age Group Division entry form or the Team Division entry form; or register online.

No online registration after Sept. 17.

NO TELEPHONE REGISTRATIONS, NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATIONS and NO REFUNDS.

 

Packets:

Packet pickup will be at the Rec-Plex on Sept. 24 & 25 from 10am–3pm, and Sept. 26 from 7am to the start of the race. Course maps and swim send-off times included. NO PHONE CALLS.

Awards:

Overall Male & Female

Team Division – Medals/plaques will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

Age Group Division – Overall Age Group Awards for the Top 3 Finishers in these categories: 19–under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

Post-Race:

Complimentary food and fruit for participants.


The DAG timing system calculates finish time as the time spent between the start and
finish line. Award status is determined by physical order at the finish line.
